Marco Island was laid out in the 1960s by the Deltona Corporation, whose plan called for some 90 miles of navigable waterways, and whole neighborhoods, from Old Marco to the South End, sit on lots that open straight onto the water. Its utilities differ from the mainland next door as well: LCEC for power rather than FPL, and the city’s own utility for water. Some warranties leave out salt damage altogether.

Have the brand and the model number ready, and tell us whether the unit is built into the counter or stands on its own, since a built-in unit may have to come out of its opening for the repair.
